A New Era
This post marks my return here after a not-so-brief hiatus. Long story short the end of 2014 was HECTIC! After finalising a thesis project at university to complete my studies in Interior Design I jetted off to Europe for a one month whirlwind expedition before rushing home just in time for the craziness that is Christmas/New Years.
The trip was absolutely incredible and exactly what the doctor ordered to both celebrate the conclusion of a tough year of study as well as open my eyes up to a feast of inspiring places, people and things. I did a 21 day tour that took me through 11 countries in total, beginning and ending with a few extra days in Paris. From Prague to Budapest, to Berlin and Engelberg, Venice, Brugge, recalling my favourite spot has produced a different answer each time I have been asked. Visiting just on the brink of winter and the festive season was the most beautiful time to go, the sites weren't too filled with crowds and the cities were adorned with the most amazing lights and trees you will ever see. The atmosphere was all the more amplified by the excitement of the coming celebrations and it seemed to be that locals and tourists alike were all in happy spirits for the holiday season.
Watch this space for exciting changes and more content as I can dedicate more time and love into this project. I'm really excited to see where this takes me and am so happy to have you along for the ride.
